Hills Paid The Bills

AO: Cropduster

When: 2025-06-12

QIC: Meatball

PAX (8): Animal, BallBoy, Dinghy, Meatball, Plymouth, Popper (Dan Richard), Spackle, Stroller

Preamble:

Gloomy, humid, and unforgiving—perfect for paying dues.

The Thang:

We laced up and launched into an almost 5-mile loop packed with good ups and downs. The route was around Buice to Morton rd to Old Milton and then a left after the Publix, out of the neighborhood and back up Kimball rd and back to Ocee Park, where gravity was not our friend. PAX kept the effort high and the mumblechatter low—oxygen was better spent on survival. Hills made wallets hurt, and quads scream. No man left behind, no man left where we found him.

COT:

Prayers for Flo's Mom Prayers for finding Jobs and contracts

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Today wasn’t about pace—it was about grit. The hills didn’t care how we felt, and that’s why they’re the best training partner. Everyone earned the sunrise. Big shout to Animal for the extra. The work gets done when we decide to stop negotiating with ourselves.
