“What Goes Down Must Come Up”

Preamble:

It’s been a minute since the men of the Norseman made their way down Nacho’s Hill (aka Jethro’s Hill). It was time to test our fortitude once again in a daunting hill workout challenge to see if what goes down can come up again.

Warm-O-Rama:

Quick mosey to the parking lot adjacent to the Flag for 10 Hillbilly’s, 10 SSH, 10 Hillbilly’s, 10 Weedpickers, 10 Hillbilly’s, and so quick arm circles.  Hillbilly’s signifying our hill workout ahead.

The Thang:

All pax began the trek out to the base of Nacho’s Hill, stopping at multiples intervals to do 3 Burpees and plank to keep the herd together. Occasional lunges walks added to the fun. At the base of Nacho’s Hill, we broke into partners and began our DORA: 100 Diamond Merkins, 200 Big Boy Sit-ups, 300 Sumo Squats. One parter on exercise reps which the other charged up the hill. At 10 minutes to TIME, with everyone still chipping away at the Sumo Squats, we began making our way back to the flag, pausing to complete our reps along the way. Miraculously, we did make it back to the flag right at 6:15.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

We did indeed learn that what goes down can come up again… just a lot slower and more winded.
