Station 2 – At The Cheese Grater

Lumbergh and Fanny Pack set up shop on the cheese grater and challenged the pax’ heads with trivia and music from 2015 and other F3Alpha history. Two teams went head to head and sometimes we would remember to call the exercise before the question. We learned things like what regions broke off from Alpha; Who created the BBReminder, When does Beach Body start; Who won the NCAAF Championship (Ohio State); how long is the BRR; and more. In addition pax named that tune from the awful music year of 2015. Crocs and Cox had no shame on shouting Taylor Swift; What even is a Fetty Wap; and some could dance the Nae Nae but does anyone know who sings it (No)? Pax enjoyed the break from the actual hard work, save for one calling it “The worst station of the morning”.

Station 3 – At The Dog Track

Sandbag Relay
Two teams, each with a 40lb sandbag and an 80lb sandbag.
Cones set up every 20 ft with exercises on front and back of cone. Rep count always 20.
One person on each team always running to the end of the cones with the 40lb sandbag, rotate new person when they get back.
Bear crawl to the cones, 80lb sandbag must be brought with team to each cone, cannot pick it up, must be dragged or pushed in bear crawl position.
Crawl bear on the way back

Team can only move to next cone once everyone on team hits the rep count for the given exercise

Once all 3 stations are completed we circled up back at the flags and closed things out.

COT:

TCLAPS to Stroller for completing all 12 Halpha Day Workouts

Thanks to all that came out and made our 10-Year anniversary what it was.

Thanks to the original PAX who came down to Alpharetta / Johns Creek to start this 10. years ago.

We broke for food & coffee and had each of the previous Nantans reflect on their time leading the Alpha. Thanks to Crack, Boomer, HaHa, Cookie, and Speedo for sharing about their time leading us.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

10 Years in the gloom. It started with only a small group of men trying to make a small impact on themselves and those around them, and now we’re having nearly 100 men show up to do the same. This is a thriving and growing brotherhood, that’s for sure.

This is not the achievement of just those few men, although we do owe a debt of gratitude to them, but to each and every one of the men of F3 Alpha. Every man of the region, and the regions that have broken off from ours, have transformed each other and continue to build upon a foundation that allows many after us to do the same. So thank you to each of you who continue this journey alongside each of your brothers.

Now that 10 years is behind us we’re starting to look forward. Not at how we maintain what we’ve built, but how we continue to accelerate and drive further impact to men and our community.
