Preamble:
Time for a "Ha-ha greatest hits" workout. Bring back some things that people truly hated. Or at least talk about. With threatening rain we moseyed out to the big lot.Warm-O-Rama:

The Thang:
With headlamps turned on we headed behind the playground to the trail into the woods, over the creek and up the hill the the church parking lot.1) Bear Crawl Merkins
Bear crawl across the parking lot and at every white park place line do 5 merkins. I counted 24 lines x 5 merkins = 120 merkins. A decent start. We ran back through the woods, over the creek and up the hill to the mail north/South street.2) D-Day Beach Landing
Since we just blew out the merkins I modified the instructions. Pair off. PAX 1 starts bear crawling up the street while PAX 2 performs 10 squats and 10 LBCs then run to catch up to their partner. Switch roles and repeat until Q says until we reach the softball parking lot turn in... or until Q says stop. Which he did.3) It Could Be Worse
Run up to the Arena (or Thunderdome. You pick) We started It Could Be Worse with squats. After 20 squats I called out a PAX to have them "make it worse". The idea is to call out a variation of squats that is harder then what we started with. After a few rounds we modified it to PAX 1 runs the loop while PAX 2 does the exercise then swap. After one round we change it up. Pairs of exercises I can recall:- Squats/Jump Squats
- Merkins/Decline Merkins
- Dips/One legged Dips
- Lunge/Bonnie Blair
- Step ups/Box Jumps
