Preamble:

Planned for 4 segments of 8 minutes, plus warmup plus moving time between stations. Should be enough time, right? Pre-blast called for cinders. Got up in the morning and wow, it was windy.

Warm-O-Rama:

Tried to give a disclaimer. Don't think I was awake yet at that point. Mosey in the parking lot with some Karaoke and High Knees. Circle up for SSH, Weed pickers, Willie Mays Hays, Arm Circles. Maybe something more??

The Thang:

Grab our cinders and move over to the parking lot next to us. First segment - Legs. Time set for 8 minutes hours. A few minutes in I realized the mistake and fixed to minutes. 20 Goblet Squats, 20 single Lunges with a clap under the knee, 20 Monkey Humpers and 10 single count No Surrenders while holding the coupon. Then bear crawl and drag the cinder with you a given distance. Rinse and repeat till time runs out. I 'allowed' the PAX to finish the round after time run out, except the bear crawl part. Grab the cinders and walk to the field next to the pavilion. Second segment - Abs. Time set for 8 minutes. 20 Flutter Kicks while holding the cinder, 20 Big Boy Sit-ups, 20 Gas Pumpers, 20 single count Peter Parkers. Crabwalk a certain distance and back, one direction forward and one backwards. Rinse and repeat till time runs out. Grab the cinders and go to the pavilion. Third segment - Arms. Time set for 8 minutes. 10 single count Side to Side Merkins on the cinder, 20 Dips, 20 Curls, 20 Skull Crushers and 10 Dirty Handshakes variation - feet on the bench (Derkin position) - hands next to cinder, use hands to go on the cinders and back down. Rifle Carry the cinder across the road and back. Rinse and repeat till time runs out. Fourth segment - cardio. We were supposed to head over to the hill for Blockees and SSH, run down, Burpees and Mountain Climbers. But... time run out. With only 5 min left we headed back to the flag. In the 2.5-3 minutes that were left YHC called out a bit of running and a few Burpees. Probably that first segment with the timer mishap and continuing past the timer wasted the time. Oh well.
