Nipples and Speedos

AO: The Bridge

When: 2025-01-24

QIC: Speedo

PAX (7): Animal, Dinghy, Fuzzy Dice, Hackeysack, Maguire, Speedo, Y2K

Preamble:

Several HCs were no-shows but all had good reasons. Plus it was too cold to care so a quick disclaimer and we were off. Some talk about me wearing a Speedo and guys' nipples prompted the backblast title for today. We were not cold for long.

Warm-O-Rama:

Run around until we stopped running for:
  • Weed pickers x10 IC
  • Hillbillies x10 IC
  • Copperhead squats x10 IC
  • SSH x10 IC
  • Phelps and monkey arms

The Thang:

Run down the bank for some ATMs. 15 IC Alternating shoulder taps, 15 IC Tempo merkins and 15 regular Merkins IC. Pecs were warm even if our fingers were frozen. Run to the bridge and partner up for several 100-count leg exercises Dora-style. P1 does the exercise while P2 runs to the top of the stairs and back. Exercises were:
  • Monkey humpers (butts to the road of course)
  • Sumo squats
  • Calf raises
  • **Bonus Round** Lunges
Run back through the Sprouts parking lot and to the village green. We did a modified Obama called a 45/47. Pax were instructed to bear crawl 4 alpha count time and then do 5 merkins, bear crawl again same distance and do 7 merkins. Modification to lunges and squats for many of us until we made it around the circle. No politics can come between guys doing bear crawls and merkins together in the gloom! To the parking deck for what the exicon calls a Donkey Burpee Webb. Jack Webb-style, do one burpee then four donkey kicks, 2 burpees and 8 donkey kicks, etc. YHC made it (barely) to 6/24 before time was called to head back to the flag where a 'surprise' was waiting. Back at the flag we did some deep stretches to finish things out. Some sort of pretzel thing that stretched the hamstrings. Another one where we laid on our bellies and got a good back stretch. And then a good old fashioned leg stretch until time was called.

COT:

Beer ruck next weekend. Check Windjammer channel for details. CPR class next Friday. Must sign up. See 3rd F and other channels for details. Several races being trained for. Y2K reminded us it is time to consider Perimeter Church school if you have kids in K-8. Prayers and praises for Fuzzy Dice, his family and his sweet daughter Evelyn. Memorial service is today (1/24) at 2 pm at the Perimeter Church chapel. Fuzzy shared about how his F3 brothers always show up. It's something I love about F3 and am honored to be part of this group that can raise men up in their lowest times.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Fuzzy said it all. Thank you sir! --Speedo out
