There was a quick mosey around the parking lot, where the PAX was shown a few of the cones (three of them). Then back to the flag for some Weed Pickers and Windmills.
Then, it was YHC's birthday a few days ago, so we did 49 of the 4-count Side Straddle Hops, for fun!
Next we moseyed over to the center of the parking lot where there were some markings on the ground and a speaker. YHC explained the what came next. We counted off in groups of 4. There were four corners of the parking lot, each with a different exercise: merkins, squats, big boy situps, and mountain climbers (alpha). Each group was to start at a different one, staying together, and going out to the cone, doing the exercise and coming back to the center, doing 10 burpees at the center each time, then rotating clockwise to the next exercise until you made a complete rotation. starting with 25 of each exercise, then going down by 5 each rotation, except staying with 10 burpees in the center each time. And Go! There was Metallica playing at the center for motivation while doing burpees.
We got through about three rotations, I think. Great job!
Then back to the flag for some quick Mary of flutter kicks and gas pumpers.
Come back on Wednesday for Popper's annual Bearway to Heaven, and don't forget to bring gloves.
Always an honor to lead.
Thanks for everyone who came out and those who have been around these last 6 or 7 years while I've been at F3, it's meant a lot to me, you all mean a lot to me. I can't wait for many more.
If you haven't led a workout yet, what are you waiting for?
