Poor Rudolf. Bullied by the other reindeer. Disowned by his father. He was not allowed to join in the reindeer games. Then one foggy.... Never mind.
Time to have reindeer games for all!
After a full disclaimer for our FNG we mosied to the big lot. Forward run east, side shuffle north, backwards west.
YHC introduced the theme for the morning and started with some reindeer trivia which was sprinkled in throughout the morning. Very few questions were answered correctly. 5 burpees for everyone for a wrong answer. There were a lot of wrong answers!
A festive playlist of every version of "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer" you have never heard was playing to keep the PAX annoyed entertained.
First Reindeer Game: Load the Sleigh
Break the group into 2 teams. Everyone grab a present (girlfriend) and take them to opposite sides of the parking lot. The game is to run to the other side and steal presents from the other team and take them to your "sleigh". And run back and get some more because the other team is stealing them back. The team with the most "presents" at the end of two songs wins.
Lift presents (overhead press)
Clear Snow (bent rows)
Back Scratcher (Skull Crushers)
Reindeer Game #2: Pull the Sleigh
Two "sleighs" were provided. Each a furniture dolly with a rope attached. One PAX plays Santa and rides, another plays Rudolf and pulls. First team down, around the island and back wins. Everyone got a chance to ride and pull while everyone else did squats, merkins, LBC, lunges...
Reindeer Game #3: Move the presents
The two teams sit side by side on one side of the parking lot with one girlfriend on the curb. On go, pass the present down the line. After you pass, stand up and run to the other end of the line and sit back down and pass the present on. The finish is across the parking lot. Everyone was well gassed after that one.
Return the girls and mosey back to the flag.
