It's always a great morning when YHC is able to bring more 2.0's than other PAX in attendance. While participation was somewhat low due to the holiday week, we were able to have a great time at the BD.
A few of the following:
Don Quixotes x10
Copperhead squats x10
Warm-up merkins x5
Plank x30 secs
The previous afternoon, P-Trap and I built a couple of new BD items out of two leftover gazebo posts and some handles acquired from Home Depot. The devices were the perfect choice for some hot thruster action and bent-over rows. On the morning of the BD, we made a circle of exercises using pavers and the previously mentioned posts, using a Cusacking wanderer as the rotational timer.
Exercises (for time):
Side plank paver lifts (?)
Cusack around the parking lot (for time)
We then played Ultimate (Franny, P-Trap, Britannica, Abacus vs. YHC, Fondue Guy, Snooze, and Bolt). After starting out on a very positive note, the gents quickly learned what true pain felt like when Snooze and Bolt turned up the heat. Some say the final count was 5-2, others say 6-3. Whatever the case, the outcome was brutal.
Thankful for all PAX, families, and friends. Needing to reach out to those approaching the holiday solo. Prayers to all in need and struggling during this holiday season and beyond. We also had the opportunity to name our FNG (and my youngest 2.0).
In true GOAT fashion, the M arrived promptly at 0615 with Chick-Fil-A minis, coffee, and hash browns for those in attendance. Miraculously marvelous (as usual).
