Well, a lot of mumble chatter out there about having larger numbers and making the workout easier! At the Norseman, we don't wake up for easy. We expect to be pushed and challenged to start the day right. On top of being challenged, we have the fastest pre-run in the region. Also, ole reliable Knight Rider is always on tap for a ruck.
With lots of new faces at the Norseman, we needed to get introduced to Crikey's Church and Ha-ha's house.
Warm-up? We don't have time for that. No Side Straddle Hops, No Weed Pickers, No Imperial Walkers. YHC gave the disclaimer and we were off.
We started strong out of the gate. Ran to the edge of the park and on the way we stopped at each speed bump and did 3,6,9,12 Burpee's. (30 Total)
Made the way over to King's Ridge and headed towards Crikey's Church. Once in the parking lot, we did 4 corners 10 escalating merkins at each corner. (100 Merkins total).
Now we were passing by Ha-ha's house to the bottom of the hill. Once at the bottom, we did some Burpee Suicide (10 Burpee's total). Then we partnered up. One partner ran to the top while the other did 50 squats and 50 Merkins. Yes...the hill is that big!
Headed back up out of the abyss doing some squats and merkins along the way.
Once back to the park, we did more escalating merkins at each speed bump. (100 Merkins total).
Prayers for Bilbo's niece and for Walkie's Family. Praise for a court date for Isabella!
Great work this morning! Almost three miles moving and 250 Merkins with 40 Burpees and countless squats. We wake up for Hard!
Also, Ha-ha's house might have a new name!
