After the RM Quad, we had a request for a “hot yoga workout for 45 minutes”. The thing is, that’s not really my, like, bag. I did mix in more than a usual amount of stretching to aid the recovery.
We moseyed out to one of the lacrosse fields, where we ran around half the field with high knees, butt kickers, cariaciacoece left and right, and Bernie. We circled up for SSH, Weedpickers, hillbillies, arm circles, and COVID’s.
Starting at mid-field, we kicked off the tunes and then started our stretching segment:
Run around half the field (back to the starting point), plank for the six. From there, lower your mid-section while keeping your arms straight to stretch your back. Then, on your six with legs straight out in front, and reach for your toes.
Run around half the field again, plank for the six with a blend of Right Arm Up/Left Arm Up. Then up on your feet, right foot over left, and hang down. Switch feet, continue. Then, legs wide, stretch down to the left & hold it, then down to the right & hold it.
Run around half the field again.
Next up we paired off for Dora’s. One partner runs out to the middle of the field, does a burpee, and runs back. Counts are below:

Prayers for Zohan’s son at college & car stresses. Excellent reminder from Speedo to celebrate the wins, even the little ones.
Glad this went well; I’ve never added so much stretching but felt it was a great start to the week. This group is really encouraging to me personally- hope we all start the week well. Always a pleasure to lead.
