YHC took the week off from running last week to heal up a bum foot. Guess what, getting back into that 5:30am rhythm is not easy. The cure? Snag the Q.
While I elected to keep the mileage down for this BD (2.7 mi), we more than made up for it by focusing on our lower half. That’s Right! Leg Day!
Lumbergh, we need to get rid of this field for Academy. Maybe add a High Intensity button?
Ran over to Brooke Street Park for a mini-Dora around the field (added step ups along the way). 50 burpees, 100 Bonnie Blairs, 150 LBCs split between Lumbergh & me.
As we made our way back to the flag, we stopped at the Alpharetta Green for some Lt. Dans and 50 Dips. To the parking lot for the main event :

Starting in the center of the parking lot with our cinder, PAX performed 2 Thrusters. We then rifle carried our coupon to Corner 1 and performed 25 Goblet Squats. Rifle carry back to the center, then did 4 Thrusters. Next we moved to Corner two for 25 Fire hydrants (alpha) then back to the center for 6 Thrusters. Corner 3 brought us 15 Oil Derricks (alpha), then 8 Thrusters back at the center. Finally, because YHC is August AMRAP challenge compliant, we lunge walked to Corner 4 for one round of AMRAP Merkins.
Rinse and repeat for a total of 3 Rounds.
Prayers of Save travels for Lumbergh’s dad, who was long overdue for visiting some family.
