Dadurday had finally returned to Starting Line, and on Father’s Day weekend no less, great planning on my part or just lucky timing, I will let you decide.
I, unfortunately, was not able to be there for the pre-ruck. After a very late night and minimal sleep, I decided to forgo the pre and prep for the BD.
I setup for the BD and then waited for all the PAX to arrive.
Moseyed to the normal spot
With so many PAX and 2.0s I got in the middle and started the warm-up
Not 100% sure of all the exercises sadly this BB is a week late in creation, but want to get it out before our subregion weasel shaker starts hunting me down, Great job Janeway!
Head to the stairs to start Thang1
Bear crawl to landing
Bear crawl to the top
Thang 2 still on the steps
Bear Crawl to landing
10 Jump squats
Bear crawl to the top
10 rocking horses
Mosey to the football field
had to pay a 5 burpee toll to get on the field
line up on the goal line
2 lines 6 on one 7 on the other
Hold plank and the last person would bear crawl to the front, then yell go to the next person to start bear crwaling to the front till one team made it to the 20 yard line. Team 1 took the win for the first round, then we held plank and had the front person crawl bear(reverse bear crawl back to the goal line team 2 won the second round.
I offered to do a third round to break the tie but they were less then enthusiastic on the idea so on to
10 howlers at the goal line
Lunge walk to the 50
run to the other side
We moseyed back to the goal line and did another round only 5 of each.
Then back to the pavilion where we did a corn hole bag toss, if you made it you picked the exercise, if you missed your dad or sibling picked an exercise for you. LifeLock was the only one that actually got it in the hole, well done.
Last event was the race
Run to the corners on the short loop, near the normal warmup spot young ones do 5 squats and older 2.0s and PAX do 10.
Another Dadurday in the books.
For travelers and all that were not able to make it to Dadurday
For my dad as he prepped for surgery
In the words of the great philosopher Chumbawamba, when you get knocked down, get back up again, the only time you lose is when you stop trying.
Pray and on to Coffeeteria Dadurday style
SirMixalot had to leave early, but everyone else hung out and enjoyed coffee, OJ, doughnuts, supplied by Suarez, thank you, sir, granola bars, and munchkins.
It is always great to have the 2.0s out and hopefully next round we will have even more kids and possibly an M or two.
Thanks to everyone that helped make this happen and I am looking forward to the next round, not only are we freed to lead, with mornings like this it is fun to lead and great to share F3 with our family.
