Forgot to check the calendar…if it wasn’t for a reminder on Slack last night, could’ve been an awkward start to the BD today. Nonetheless, a great opportunity to combine a couple of key F3 elements – modification and the Murph.
Moseyed to dam for SSHs, copperhead squats, weedpickers and arm circles…then down to playground in sports park.
S(Murph) – slightly modified Murph. Goal was to complete 100 Swercans, 200 Big Boys and 300 squats with 10 runs (either around track or up the parking lot hill). Could do 10 sets of each to reach goal or any combination.
Pax completed 7-8 rounds before time was starting to get the best of us.
To head back, pax voted to stay on paved ground and avoid the grassy knoll. Stopped by lake for a great view and quick set of Colt .45s as the sun came up.
Moseyed back to flag for mountain man poopers in honor of False Start.
Good luck and safe travels to Maytag and his crew as they plan to climb Whitney next week.
Prayers for Funyun’s M’s family after the passing of her uncle a couple of days ago.
Father’s Day family 5K at Fowler Park this weekend, plus beer ruck. All details on Slack.
Approximately three years ago I started my F3 journey (first at Widowmaker, then Windjammer). Of course, Windjammer used to start at a more appropriate time – main reason I chose that AO. Nonetheless, it’s been a great, fast, entertaining and challenging three years. Appreciate everyone’s support and effort. Cheers!
