PAX (7): Dosido, Groundhog, Pinkey, Special K, Stroller, Tank, turkey
It occurred to the Q on Wednesday that he has not been to Nirvana all year. Checked the Q sheet and no one had grabbed Saturday yet. So why not? After last week’s festivities in Cherokee, Q had the itch to take on the F3 Decathlon.
Shared the pre-blast yesterday, an image of Bruce Jenner, the 1976 Olympic decathlon champion, and funny enough that was the last anyone heard from him.
Q arrived to the AO plenty early to see if the Milton football stadium was open- success- and to place the board of pain.
Begin to mosey toward the stadium. Stop halfway or so to hold plank position and work in mountain climbers and plank jacks. Continue to mosey toward the back of the stadium while mixing in some dynamic warm-up. Upon reaching the far end of the field, took it into the stadium over to where the board was staged.
Simple movements, yet high difficulty.
Bear crawl width of field and back
100 mercans, 400m run
100 BBSU, 400m run
Broad jump width of field and back
100 squats, 400m run
Run stadium stairs
100 SSH, 400m run
Work together to bring in the 6. Head back to the flag, stopping partway to air chair while everyone came in. Back to the flag with about 4 minutes for Mary, highlighted by Turkey’s sprint to the wall, donkey kicks, and back.
Blood drive next Friday, see Slack
Chick-fil-a Moove It 5k (https://cherokeecounty5k.com/)
Prayers were lifted for Sprocket and family due to his father’s health
Murph Monday, 7am at Badapple or behind Alpharetta City Hall (Brook St Park). See Slack for other options
How many AOs offer a backup track in case the football stadium is locked? so much room for activities here. Great to check out somewhere I don’t often post. Honor to lead today.
