PAX (10): Candy Crush, FannyPack, Floater, HIPPA, Mater, Morphine, Mounty, Mr. Green Jeans, Pigtails, Scrooge
Cinder cookie-sandwich with a burpee cream filling.
Mosey around the parking lot with a circle-up for the following:
HIOB’s (aka Michael Phelps, aka COVIDs)
Mosey back to the cars & pick up the cinders and tunes.
Cinder Relay was up first. Divide into groups of 3; PAX #1 at the side line and PAX #2 at mid-field. PAX #1 does OH presses and PAX #2 does curls. PAX #3 rifle-carries the cinder across and relieves PAX #1. Once relieved, PAX #3 does curls, PAX #1 Rifle Carries back & relieves PAX #2. Continue until everyone has done each exercise 3 times. Like jugging but with humans and cinders. Also two of the groups were Rifle-Sprinting, a bold modification indeed.
Bataan Death March around the field. Like an Indian Run but the last man drops for 5 burpees. We ran until everyone got a turn. Head to the big circle in the center of the field.
Grip, Rip, and Roll, lefty loosy to the right around the circle. Pick up the cinder, haul over your opposite side, roll up into a high plank, keep rolling off and repeat. Took a short breather, then to mix it up we went back righty tighty to the left.
Reminder on the Rec’s convergence, and the Boneyard shirt order.
Prayers for Morphine and his family as they prepare to make a move later this year. We’ve still got him for a few months but he’ll be missed!
Its really great to see 10 PAX at the Boneyard regularly. Great work by all this morning, especially the newer men who haven’t spent so much time with Cinders yet. Always a pleasure to lead!
