Finally taking my first Q of the year at Meathouse. Guess it’s about time since I’ve been showing up here a lot for some reason… I guess I just love the pain!
We warmed up at the starting point with:
The PAX then moseyed with our coupons to the front of the stage where YHC set the stage…
We would be doing sets of 1:2 ratio exercises followed by a lap around the oval after each set, alternating walking and lunging at each lamp post. First exercise would be followed by twice as many of the second exercise in each set. Beginning at 1 and 2 and ending at 10 and 20.
1: Overhead Press
2: Coupon climbers (squat with one leg on coupon, alternating sides)
2: Kettle bell swings
1: Coupon squat
After the final lap, there was some extra time so we got to try something even more fun:
10 Overhead Presses (high)
10 Standing coupon extensions (mid)
10 Bent over rows (low)
Decrease reps by 1 each set until 1 of each.
Some flutter kicks were done as some PAX waited for the Six. We finished up with just enough time to Mosey back to the start. Doughboy was no longer questioning why he had never come to Meathouse before.
