A familiar round of SSH, Windmills, Weed Pickers, Arm Circles, and Covids.
After a quick mosey to the football field, PAX partnered up to crushed a Dora, consisting of: 100 Jumping Squats, 200 Merkins, 300 American Hammers, while the partner ran to the 50 yard-line, completed a burpee, and ran back.
Next, beginning at the Goal Line, one PAX began bear-crawling while his partner ran to the other GL and returned to take over. After a quick recovery, we repeated the routine heading the other way.
Next, we completed: 36 Dying Cockroaches, 4 Burpees, 10 Wide Arm Merkins, and ran a lap.
Followed by: 36 Mountain Climbers (alpha), 4 Burpees, 10 Lunges, and ran a lap.
Then: 36 Freddie Mercury’s, 4 Burpees, 10 Carolina Dry Docks, and ran a lap.
Lastly: 36 Monkey Humpers, 4 Burpees, 10 High-Altitude Jumping Squats, and ran a lap.
We finished things off with a couple of 100-yard sprints (mainly so I could retrieve my cones and speaker from the other end zone) and moseyed back to the flag to recover.
We lifted up Snowman’s family, as they mourn the loss of his mother-in-law.
It’s an honor and a privilege every time I get to Q; this birthday Q was no different. As I reflect on my previous ~15 birthdays, I can confidently say that I’m in better shape at 36 than I have been since I was 21. I’m grateful for the NorseMEN for challenging me, encouraging me, and holding me accountable. I’m excited to see what 37 will look like!
