First time back in a while, had a fun idea to work the body and the mind.
Jog over to the playground for some SSH, Weed Pickers, Toy Solders and Phelps to loosen up. Then grab a lifting coupon and circle around the table.
Q had 25 index cards face down on the table arranges in 5 rows of 5.
11 exercise with a matching card. 3 exercises with no match, because why not make it harder.
Merkins X 20
Burpees X 10
Jump Squats X 15
Dips X 25
Shrugs X 25
Pull Ups X 5-10
Big Boys X 15
Lunges (Lamppost to Lamppost)
Curls X 25
Shoulder Press X 25
Rows X 25
The 3 cards with no match were
Sprint up the Stairs X 3
Bear Crawl Lamppost to Lamppost
Sprint up the Hill
PAX counted off and number 1 flipped a card and tried to find its match. All other PAX would watch to help remember where each card was to clear the board faster. Complete the exercise on each card and repeat. If you found the match, complete both sets and remove from table. Perhaps it was the early hour, perhaps it was the lack of coffee, but today the board bested us.
I have been MIA for the last 4 months rehabbing a back issue and the group welcomed me back with open arms. I am grateful for each of you and needed the pick me up more than you know.
Let’s all continue to push to be a better men, leaders, husbands and fathers. We need it now more than ever.
