Back at the helm! After making the PAX just run hills the last time out, YHC promised them a trip to Muscle Beach this time. We are, after all, less than 3 weeks from Spring Break, so we should be on the LGN plan for our Ms. It’s all about the Ms.
Now…Muscle Beach doesn’t really work when it’s 30 Degrees. Too cold to stand there and do curls. Sorry.. So, YHC was caught in a pickle. A promise is a promise, but cold is cold. Then, like a bolt of lightning, inspiration hit. This week is St Patty’s week. St. Patrick is Irish. You know what a good Irish name is? Murphy. You know a good nickname for a friend whose last name is Murphy? Murph.
We did a Murph. Well sorta. We did a modified murph. But hear me out. We always do Murph at Muscle Beach b/c of the pullups, AND, what better way to get into Spring Break shape than doing a s***ton of pullups, pushups, squats, and running? (s***ton is a technical term, of course).
