Post-Hillseeker beatdown was planned without much running or hills. All the members of the “Ok Boomer” team showed up to get stronger.
SSH, IW, WP, WM
Batwings (MNC, forward arm circles, backward arm circles, air press, seal claps)
Walk to the center of the parking lot for some smoother (not softer) pavement/concrete and find a partner for a Lazy Dora. 100 merkins, 200 LBCs, 300 air presses. One partner holds plank while the other does 10 merkins then swap, when you get to LBCs do 20 then swap, when you get to air presses do 25 then swap. During this, we enjoyed a playlist of Metallica on shuffle.
Next we circled up for a Bear Crawl Ring of Fire Mucho Chesto. (Well, half a mucho chesto)
Start bear crawling around the circle until YHC called stop then we took turns doing 10 merkins around the circle. Then repeat with each of wide merkins, diamond merkins, and finally left and right stagger merkins. The PAX enjoyed it immensely.
Then we did a Captain Thor, which is a 1:4 ratio of BBS and American Hammer. We did it in cadence all the way up to 10:40.
Next back to the smooth concrete for a routine called “Building a Dog House”. Basically, you do 1 merkin and then 1 air press, go all the way up to 10 merkins and 10 air presses, and then back down to 1 merkin and 1 air press. All were happy about it.
Somewhere in the dog house building my speaker battery died 🙁
Next back to the flag for some Boat-Canoe and time was up!
Prayers for the week and strength to get through it.
Honored to lead, thanks for coming out and supporting each other and me!
