1 lap around track. 10 burpees, 10 Squats, then 10 Merkins. Lap around track. Then 9,9, 9 of same. Count down to 1. Gets pretty brutal when you get to around 5.
Since we were working with a mini track, not a full track, we dubbed this workout the “MINI Cooper.”
After our 7th round (4,4,4), we had to call it quits in order to leave time for our relay race.
Part 2: 4×400 relay
PAX split into 5 teams of 4 (or 3) and we did a classic 4x400M relay with a couple variations:
Each team’s baton was a paint stick from ACE hardware. #FreeOfCharge
Whoever was in first place had to run in the outermost lane
The runner in 2nd place was in the next lane in, and so forth.
If your team only had 3 runners, one lucky PAX got the chance to run twice.
Since it’s not a full track, I suppose this wasn’t technically a 4x400M, but close enough…
Moseyed back to flag for a ROM
You can still sign up for the free AED/CPR/Heimlich training coming up February 10th:
Sounds like there’ll be a SiteQ changing-of-the-guard for both the Hooch, Meathouse, and maybe a couple other AO’s. Stay tuned for more details.
@PuffDaddy had the opportunity to go to CO with @Ready-Mix (F3)’s family. Sounds like it was a great trip. Continue to keep @Ready-Mix (F3)’s family lifted up in prayer as they navigate life with him no longer here.
It’s a heck of a lot easier being DR in 50 degree temps than it is back home where it was 0 this morning and -18 on Friday. Thanks for the invite 🙂
