YHC was asked to scout the WLC grounds for location of AED’s. Learned there are plenty of signs claiming AEDs are in fact, located in the Clubhouse. Seeing that the clubhouse does not open until 9am, and knowing all none but Dr. Rico would support a 9am start time, I decided to petition the owners of WLC for an outside placement of said AEDs. More to come on this later…
Mosey to the top of LWD, which by itself is a helluva hill to warm up with.

On this date in history, January 27th in what year did Johnny McEnroe win the Australian Open? Haha…trick question. Johnny McEnroe never even played in an Australian Open Final. However in 1996, Monica Seles won the Australian Open 2 years after being stabbed in the back by some psychopath “fan” . Since we’re on a tennis theme today, we’re going to learn about tennis scoring by running some 4 corners:
You need to win 6 games to win a set. To win a game, the scoring goes 15 – 30 – 40 (it makes no sense) and you need to win by 2! We will do this as a group. If you finish early, then hold a high plank until the 6 is in.
Corner 1: 6 Burpees. Run full lap. Bernie to Corner #2
Corner 2: 15 Mercans. Run full lap. Lunge walk to #3
Corner 3: 30 Squats. Run full lap. Bernie to #4
Corner 4: 40 American Hammers. Run a lap. Lunge walk to #1
Because in tennis you need to win 4 points (and 2 in a row if you get to deuce, we’re gonna run this back (just like the Dawgs)…Had to shorten the plans for Round 2 due to time constraints…
Congratulations to America’s Favorite Snack Food – Funyon – for 27 blissful years of marriage today. I know we joke all the time but that’s a hell of an accomplishment!
Glitter Done Run (or something like that) led by Cookie. Sign up.
Shirt orders will be in the works for Windjammer order + new F3 Nation shirts. More to come on this.
Ha-Ha’s annual birthday round of 6 beatdowns in a row starts next week with the grand finale at the Widowmaker next Saturday. Let’s show some solid Windjammer support for our long lost windjammer PAX.
Posting at an AO for a regular beatdown ALWAYS puts me in a better state of mind for whatever lies ahead in the day – work, personal, commitments, difficult conversations, etc… The only thing that’s better? Q’ing the beatdown before a big day. It’s always an honor to lead this group and wishing everyone a great weekend ahead. Cheers, Gents.
