PAX (12): Caroline, Cookie, Cox, Deep dish, mike c (Brutus ), Milli Vanilli, Nair, Sparkie, Stu, Townie, Walkie Talkie, FNG Kingpin
YHC searched the internet far and wide for some sort of a theme to this morning’s Q. Not much by way of “this day in history” though there were a few notables.
JFK gave his “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country” speech in 1961.
The first official basketball game was played in 1892. Final score was 1-0 and they used a soccer ball
Ronald Reagan was sworn in as our 40th President back in 1981.
How does was use the score of 1-0 and incorporate it into a beat down?
You don’t….so I took a stroll in my excel version of the Exicon.
The usual disclaimers though YHC was rather choppy this morning having been awake since 2:30am for no good reason.
Welcome, FNG….Great work on the EH, Deepdish.
Please don’t see…anyone or anything today.
Let’s mosey over to the Flag for a quick warmup
15 Imperial Walker
We a lot on the weinkie today….even by my standards, I dug deep into the Exicon so not sure how timing will playout, but only one way to find out.
Thang 1.0 – Individual Medley
Bench to Bench
5 Burpeees, Merkins, Flutterkick (A), SSH….up to 10 of each stroke with a quick mosey to the other bench for each round.
Thang 2.0 – Tammy Wynette….Stand by your PAX.
Partner up….Pax 1 does 10 merkins while Pax 2 does 10 squats. Alternate sets all the way up to 200 so each PAX does 100 merkins and 100 squats. About this time is when Townie began to complain about the music. He has a particular disdain for lead singer of the Offspring….dude, it was the 90’s!
Thang 3.0 – The Quarter Pounder
We weren’t on football field and we definitely did more than 100 yards. But it went a little something like this….
25 yards out and 25 merkins…backwards run to starting point
50 yards out and 50 squats…backwards run
75 yards out and 75 mountain climbers (a)…backwards run
100 yards out and 100 SSH….backwards run.
There was some mary sprinkled in here today….no shortage of calf raises either.
Not enough time for Thang 4.0 (The Cooper) so we paired up again (same as before) and did two minutes of Pump Jacks.
And that’s time…back to the Flag.
T-Claps and thanks to Cookie and Walkie Talkie for coordinating the CPR crash course on February 10th.
Welcome Kingpin (FNG)
Prayers to Cardinal, his family, and F3 Knoxville.
Thanks to all of you….let’s go out and be better men, husbands, fathers, leaders in our community.
