but not for us! They say mid-Jan is when most New Years resolutions start to dwindle away, but that is the path of deceleration, and F3 Cumming remains on a different trajectory for 2023! A path of expanded workout options, numerous challenge opportunities from regional trail runs, team relay races, half marathons, 50Ks, all the way up to 100-mile ultra marathons that are a couple thousand miles away – whatever your appetite, F3 Cumming 2023 has something for you, so choose the path that’s best for you and thanks for being part of our group. Off we go…
Mosey to north parking lot for Mary:
Mosey to North Baseball fields building with (4) pathways that extend in all directions:
For (2) long sidewalks: Sprint to end, backpedal back
for (2) short sidewalks: Bear crawl to end and bear crawl back
each trip to the building, do:
20 Hand release Mercans
30 Side Straddle Hops
On a recent visit to Charleston, YHC was introduced to a new workout called the “Jackass Burpee Web,” so it was a great time to introduce it to F3 Cumming as well.
On the wall do a burpee followed by 2 Donkey Kicks, starting with 1:2 and working up to 5:10. Thanks to our F3 Charleston guest, Big Dif, for calling it for us. Even more so, thanks for stopping at 5:10 instead of 10:20 like YHC originally called as the don’t Q it if you can’t do it flag would have been thrown with my original plan.
Mosey back to the Football field for some accelerating 100 yard sprints and then back to the flag for Mary.
Continued prayers for F3 Cardinal and the PAX of F3 Knoxville
Prayers for Deuce’s friend, Eddie, for wisdom in working through medical challenges
Prayers for Baskins for work -related guidance
As we prepare to charge the hill in 2023, let’s also maintain a focus on life balance. In addition to Man Dates, also be intentional about scheduling dates with your M and spending quality time with your 2.0s. Likewise, consider the same with your trips – we love embracing challenges like climbing mountains, doing ultra-marathons, 200-mile relay races, and multi-day backpacking trips with our F3 brothers, but make sure to schedule quality time with your family as well. Be on the lookout for some upcoming expansion opportunities and continued focus on 2nd and 3rd F events to get involved with. And never forget, we are all Freed to Lead, so if you have an idea about how we can grow and serve our community, please don’t hesitate to offer it up. Cheers to all for a great 2023!
