PAX (12): but always fresh, lumbergh, Caffey, El Matador, Ha-ha, Hollywood, Lefty, Mayhem, No-See-Um, Stu, TopHat, Turbine, Forecast
Promise of Dawg support brought out all types of PAX’s today including the newly crowned runner, former Rucker, known as No-See-Um.
We don’t warm up here, although we did have 3 pre-runners today to get in some extra miles.
12 PAX ran through Crabapple to Green road. Around the Castle to Etris and hung a left to get back to Rucker and up Broadwell to finish a stong 5.5 mile loop around Alpharetta.
Great words of perspective today by Stu: “Imagine the last thing you saw as a 24 year old athlete in top notch physical fitness was a receiver you tackled, then you woke up days later to learn your cardiac arrest turned a football game into a prayer meeting, convinced an ESPN anchor to pray on live television to Gd Almighty, and raised over $7 million in 2 days to buy toys for kids in need! When Gd decides to use you, what seems like a tragedy can be turned into a triumph! Wake up #3! I wanna meet the guy that loaned his heart to the world for a few seconds Monday night!”
Honored as always to lead men to become better, thanks all for joining.
