6:46pm Wednesday night the call went out. Fresh Prince has a fresh case of Rona. Time to postpone the VQ. YHC jumped at the chance to grab an extra Q for the year!
But what would it be? I had several thoughts on what to do looking at options we had not done in a while. It seemed like a great day to get “tired”.
Disclaimer given we were off to the old meeting spot so Nacho could complete his post run “air squat”.
Mosied to the St. Francis campus through the now flooded short cut. A couple of splashes later and we circled for Merkins In Cadence.
Mosied down to the bottom of Nacho’s hill. Circled for Copperhead Squats in cadence.
Mosied to the top of the hill and circled for LBCs in cadence.
Mosied to the back of the football practice field for the tire stash. Mmmm. Looks like someone raided the tire stash!. Only 2 tractor tires there. We grabbed those two and improvised. On the way back from getting tires, Dips on the bench, in cadence.
Pair off for a Dora. Pax 1 runs around the corner to the top of Nacho hill and back while PAX 2 does the exercises:
At the same time the PAX take turns on the tires. 5 flips and then pass of to another. We got in 2 rounds of flips for each PAX.
Return the tires to their resting place.
Mosied back to the flag.
Balls to the Wall competition (BttW). Hand stand on the wall. Hold it until you can’t. Crikey and Beaker were still going when I stopped it too early. Sorry guys.
One last round of LBCs. 6:15.
Those recovering from illness.
Stu brought us TNT with our coffee:
“Forget yesterday. It has already forgotten you. Don’t sweat tomorrow. You haven’t even met. Instead, open your eyes and your heart to a truly precious gift — today.”
Great to have Hot Sauce back among us! Chugga making it a habit. Great to see Bilge out as well.
Check in on the guys that we have missed.
Fitness Test “The Tower of Terror” tomorrow at the Alpharetta green on Main St. 5:30. 5:25 for instruction.
