Day 2 of the weeklong discount event got off to a great start, as we actually had a newly EH’d FNG courtesy of Popper (who was off eating Swiss chocolate, drinking Swiss Miss hot cocoa, and enjoying a Ricola). Thus, said FNG didn’t have the requisite ruck or block, but no matter – in typical F3 fashion, adjustments were quickly made to ensure no one was left behind. Full disclaimer was given, and off we went.
12 each of the following:
Willie Mays Hays
Farmers carry of blocks to back parking lot – with 2 PAX accompanying/guiding FNG to the loaner blocks at the ramp.
11’s with squat thrusters and stiff leg deadlifts. Mode of travel via farmers carry. Air chair, then pick up the 6. Carry blocks over to the town green stage.
3 exercises (bent rows, mercans, block squats) done in reps of 5-10-15-20. After each cycle, mosey around the short loop of the green. Air chair, then pick up the 6. Carry blocks back to the flag.
7’s with block curls and dips. Removed rucks for a Bloody Mary
Starting in low plank, started with 10 Pickle Pounders, hold low plank for 10 seconds, then conducted 15 gas pumpers. Moved back to 10 second plank, 10 pickle pounders, 10 second plank, then on to 15 flutter kicks. Repeated same sequence for 15 American Hammers and 15 LBC’s. AND THAT WAS TIME!
Announcements: Hill Seeker (coming up 3-5 March).
Prayers for Feather’s pup, Lucy; and Dinghy’s father-in-law as he recovers from Covid.
What a great morning to lead, and what a great opportunity to bring a new HIM along with us for the ride. That’s some great effort and work, men, and a great example of leaving no man behind, whether it was helping our FNG locate his block, bringing everyone in during each sequence, or even taking said block back so we can find it next time. Thanks again, men!
