We had a man down who needed a substi-Q. YHC grabbed the Q and waited for the HCs to roll in. Being a holiday week the numbers were small. In fact only one other HIM gave an HC.
Grabbed rucks and warmed up enroute.
Did a Firehouse ruck much like the Firehouse run, stopping every few light posts for some ruck PT. Merkins, squats, kettbell swings, ab exercises etc.
Talked and prayed about the folks traveling, the holidays etc.
Sometimes, getting up to do the thing (workout, study, prayer, etc.) is less for you and more for others. I.e. your family, colleagues, workout partners, or others. You show up because it’s a way to serve others. I didn’t necessarily want to get out of my warm bed but I went to F3 this morning because I knew that one other man had committed to show up. With everyone traveling for the holidays and all the things going on the crowd gets small. I knew that if one other man was going to show up this morning he wasn’t going to do it alone. This is what we are all about.
