Cold rainy day forecasted, and for once was accurate. But gloomy weather plus the Gloom does does not equal gloomy men. Three HIMs showed up ready to kick Tuesday in the face, and what better way to do that than with come coupons of Joy?
Pre-blast Slack message suggested dropping off your regulation concrete blocks at the parking deck (or multiple parking decks). After a half mile run, we showed up at the deck ready to work.
1. DORA- 100 shoulder shrugs/200 Goblet squats/300 curls. PAX ran up one length of the deck Bernie Sanders style, Mosey back, then switch.
2. Another half mile run during a break in the rain, then an Escalator. PAX completed the first exercise, ran up the stairs to the top of the deck & back down. Second set included the first exercise plus a new one, then it kept on building. After each set, run up and down the stairs. The Exercises:
5 Blockees/10 Skull Crushers/15 SSH/20 BBBS (big boys with a block)/ 25 Chest Press on your back/30 Derkins
3. With the rain really coming down we did our half mile up and down the deck. Our final exercise was 11s with Kettle Bell Swings & American Hammers. No hill to go up this time, just back and forth on the first level. I not an animal.
