As the temperature snuck into the low 40’s I was perplexed as to why Vertigo was not there but then soon remembered he had increased his temperature rule of anything lower than ’50F’ it was a no-go. Anyways, after some nice pleasantries and a “couple of 5.16er’s” we got underway.
Mosey around the starting car park introducing the standard butt kickers and high knees + side to sides we circled up and proceeded with:
10x Imperial Walkers
10x Copperhead (1 super quick rep)
10x Toy Soldiers
Off we trotted too the field
PAX were met with a neatly presented white board with 6 exercises.
Aim of the game was to complete each exercise once, then go for a little run with a single burpee treat to keep them guessing. After each round the PAX took the bottom exercise off, so the next round was only 5 exercises…. so on and so forth – Aim was to Un-Stack the board!
20x Hand Release Merkins
20x Bonnie Blairs (alpha)
50x Gas Pumpers
20x Alligator Merkins
10x No Surrenders (alpha)
Run to the end line on the field (roughly 100M) – once at the end line you complete just 1x burpee as a well done present, then simply run back. (I still think Mater is figuring out when to do the Burpee).
PAX completed this with 15 minutes left to spare and as a reward we did 7’s by the parking lot grassy hill.
7’s exercises = Mike Tyson at the bottom and then American Hammers (alpha) at the top.
After everyone stormed through the 7’s I was convinced that all the PAX either had a good breakfast prior to the BD or it was a poorly timed BD (probably the latter) we still had 8 minutes to spare, so what better way to end with Bernie Sanders up the starting parking lot hill then bear crawl 20 yards to the flags where we ended with a 4-minute CORE Blast – Pickle Pounder, Cockroaches, Box cutters, Leg Raises & J-Lo’s…. Finally, 6am rolled around.
