PAX (6): No-See-Um, Pinkey, Special K, Tank, turkey
I was saving my VQ for my beloved Rubicon but Sprocket put the pressure on me at the last minute. I try not to shy away from a challenge so I picked up the Q this morning.
We got the legal mumbo-jumbo out of the away and mosied around the high school to the football field.
We knocked out some quick SSH, weed-pickers, merkins, and arm swings.
We circled up near the end-zone around a standard deck of cards.
Each pax took turns drawing a card. We did the corresponding number of exercises for that card.
Aces and Jokers = 1 lap around the track
♥ Heart = Lunges (alpha)
♦ Diamond = Merkins
♣ Club = Burpees
♠ = Leg raises
Each card corresponded to the number of that exercise that we did.
Any card under 5 automatically equaled 5
Jacks = 11, Queen = 12, King = 13
We then mosied back around the high school, running up a hill along the way.
We stopped at the pull-up bar and assumed the plank position. Each pax did 5 pull-ups while the rest of the pax did 5 merkins.
We headed back to the flag with a few minutes to spare.
Turkey came gobbling in from his run just in time for some core work!
We then knocked out 20 flutter kicks.
The remaining 1 minute 20 seconds was spent in the low plank.
