It was a very brisk morning, the “real feel” said it was 25 degrees, and I was very pleased by the turnout to support YHC on his second Q, and the triumphant return of Florida Man!
So what had happened was, YHC turned 51 on Sunday, so the brilliant plan was to do 17 reps of each exercise for 3 rounds to give the PAX 51 reps of getting stronger while doing exercises that spell out Happy Thanksgiving. It was a lofty goal, and we were able to complete one full round and made it to Happy Thanks G.

The Thang: 17 reps of each, up to 3 rounds, which would give 51 reps per exercise. I had to use some deep cuts from the Exicon in order get all the letters needed.

P – Prayer Squat (squats while holding hands in front like you are praying)

Y – Yves Poll (AKA Bernie Sanders, but I needed a Y to keep the theme)

A – Alternating Side Squats
N – Nolan Ryan (One of the best hockey fights I have seen happened at a baseball game)
K – Knee Taps
S – Side shuffles
G – Guantanamo (plenty of groans, little mumblechatter )
I – Imperial Squat Walker (add a squat)
V – V-ups
I – Imperial Stormkickers (add a kick)
N – No Surrender
G -Groiners (thank you to Sir Mix-A-Lot for showing us the correct exercise, I was thinking about Peter Parkers)
