“Iron sharpens iron” a wise man once wrote. When No-See-Um and Caffey issued a challenge to the PAX to fill the Q sheet for remainder of month, QIC asked for confirmation if this is what was wanted. It was, and, so QIC did. 3 Saturdays —3 Q’s with the quintessential Hero WOD: The Murph. 3 Saturdays in a row.


Disclaimer given, QIC lead PAX in SSH’s, Hillbillies, Mtn climbers, Sun gods. All IC, Rep cnt 20. Then, pickup sandbags, speaker and chalk and head to track.

The Thang:

The Murph WO (w/mod as there is no pull-up apparatus avail)

1 mile run

100 burpees

200 Mercans

300 squats

1 mile run

*45-60# sandbags available as modification for burpees.

Props to Especial K for working his way sequentially all the way through. Yes, the man ran, performed 100 burpees, and, then, completed all 200 Mercans before completing 300 squats…

with -10 minutes left on clock and all PAX finished. QIC lead PAX back to flag for 2 rounds sandbag cleans and rows.


We lifted those who are dealing with injury and those dealing with loss.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

1 Murph WO done, 1-2 to go depending on how many PAX commit to fall convergence. A variation of the Murph WO is promised (QIC doesn’t want *any* PAX getting bored). ‘Til next Saturday, Sprocket out.
