PAX (7): Goose, Rusty, Short Circuit, Snax, Sprocket, Thud, Avis
7 Badapplers posted for a beautiful if slightly moist morning!
Special props to @Rusty for going to the Smashing Pumpkins/Jane’s Addiction concert the night before and still posting…as the Irish are famous for saying, “If you’re going to be a man in the evening, you’ve got to be a man in the morning”–well done @Rusty.
Following the motto that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I borrowed the title and concept for the workout from an F3 Churham (in the Carolinas) backblast–Thanks fellas!
The PAX were instructed to bring a coupon for the BD.
Short Mosey around the parking lot to orient PAX to the 2 stations and warm up the legs.
-Broke group into one team of 3 and one team of 4 with 2 PAX on the team of 4 being connected and acting as a single PAX
-From each group, one PAX headed to far side of the parking lot (….maybe 60-70 yards away), one stayed at the other end, while the 3rd PAX in each group was the initial runner.
-While the PAX at each end of the parking lots performed their reps non-stop (same exercises and rep counts on both sides), the runner ran to the other side of the parking lot, then back to their starting point, and then back to the opposite side where they “tagged” their teammate who proceeded to be the runner now. Runners were instructed to go 1/2 speed, then 3/4, then stride out the final leg of each running cycle.
-Each “Round” was 9 minutes long with a 15 second break in between
Round 1: 10 Merkins, then do 10 plank shoulder taps, then 10 Bobby Hurleys and keep repeating until you get tagged out to be the runner
