We knew that this was going to be a tough one going into it thanks to some intel from Ha-ha… but nothing could prepare us for the pit of misery.
Special thanks to Nacho for recruiting the St. Francis wrestling team to load up all of the cinders (and presumably… unload as YHC had to take off quickly to catch a 7am mtg after the long workout).
Very quick warm up as we wanted to get started on the 45 minute challenge.
Arm circles and COVIDS on your own to warm up those arms! Meanwhile, YHC tried to demonstrate the various workouts and revealed that modification would be necessary. Apparently “I’m not worthy.”
Starting at the center cone (cone 1):
5 ManMakers in the middle. Rifle carry to cone 2 and perform 10 “We’re Not Worthy”. Farmer carry back to center.
5 ManMakers in middle. Rifle carry to cone 3 and perform 15 Goblet Squats. Farmer carry back to center.
5 ManMakers in middle. Rifle carry to cone 4 and perform 20 Overhead Triceps Extensions. Farmer carry back to center.
5 ManMakers in the middle. Rifle carry to cone 5 and perform 25 KB Swings. Farmer carry back to center.
5 ManMakers in the middle. Rifle carry to cone 6 and perform 30 Curls. Farmer carry back to middle.
It goes without saying, but much modification was necessary.
Prayers for Huffy who learned the true meaning of “skull crusher” after dropping a cinder on his head.
This is an easy workout to try to over-do it and hurt yourself. I feel like our group has a great mix of PAX who want to push you, but also not be foolish about it. So I was glad to be with you guys in this BD.
