PAX (5): FannyPack, Feathers, Morphine, Speedo, Zohan, An FNG Starsky who cased the joint and promised to come Monday
I had signed up for a 1/2 Birthday Q, and was hit with a nasty cold earlier in the week. Wasn’t sure I could handle it and Dinghy gamely stepped up to substi-Q, but I was blessed with a rapid recovery and we audibled back to the original play.
Usual Mosey, SSH, Weedpickers, windmills, Moroccan Nightclubs, and some sprinter stretches.
I’m 49 1/2 years young this weekend (and I’m going to take every remaining opportunity to state that I’m in my ‘forties’).
Today’s theme was 40-9s
Tabata workout – 3 min of reps, 1 min of ‘rest’. Field is set up with two sets of cones and two boards of pain, with an (accurately measured) 40 yards of green between.
3 minutes: perform 40 reps of prescribed exercise, followed by 9 burpees.
1 minute: 40 yard dash to the next set of cones. Rest for balance of minute

For our 9th and final set, we did 10 burpees a minute for 4 minutes with 30 second rest, which took us to time.
Reminder for the Darth Visor memorial convergence next Saturday. Prayers for the many pax who have aging/ailing parents. Unmentioned, but please lift up the guys running the Alien half this Saturday.
