Great morning with the humidity and temps just a few degrees less than the last several weeks made for excellent pre-run conditions.  5 pre pre, 9 pre, and 19 PAX got some in the gloom today.


Mosey in the opposite direction of the entire PAX heard who are so programmed that they didn’t even consider we may be going somewhere other than to the bottom of Mt. Killamanjaro.

Stop in front of the track for an expertly delivered disclaimer and some SSH, willy mays hays, weed picker, Moroccan nightclubs.

The Thang:

Today is a modified version of the Cooper routine.  Very straightforward to understand and easy to remember unless you’re one of the PAX who chronically tunes out the Q during explanation.

3 repeating sets of exercises decreasing by one each round.

  • 10 burpees
  • 20 merkins
  • 30 squats

Take a lap around the track after each round.  Decrease reps by one the next round.

A couple PAX finished the entire routine and many others weren’t far behind.  Back to the flag with no time for mary.


Prayers for the PAX and sad clowns in our area.  We especially wanted to lift up those less fortunate than us as we all have so much to take for granted which is a huge blessing that is easy to lose perspective of.

Discussion around how we can leverage the growth in our region to take a more structured approach to our 3rd F game.  If Crab Cake posted I’m sure he’d have agreed.
