Since the summer is coming to a close with Fulton County schools starting up on Monday, YHC figured it would be a good time to bid farewell to the last summer beatdown at the Hooch for the year.
After a quick mosey around the parking lot, we did SSH, WP, IW, and MNC.
Headed over to near the center of the big parking lot where a speaker was in the middle and 4 cones spaced at the end of 4 spokes, like in a wheel. Here’s the plan:
Start from the center, run to one of the cones, do the exercise, run back to the center, 3 burpees, then run to the cone at the end of the next spoke, do the exercise, run back to the center, 3 burpees, repeat all the way around the 4 cones. That’s one cycle. Start with 20 of the exercise, and then decrease by 2 reps for each time around the spokes of the wheel, continuing to do 3 burpees each time you get back to the center. The exercises were: Merkins, BBS, Squats, Star Jumps.
The PAX were serenaded with songs about summer during this fun.
With a couple minutes to go, we stopped at the center and did a bunch of Overhead Claps, and that was it!
Prayers for kids going back to school, and the school staff and faculty supporting them.
Prayers for those traveling.
Prayers for those dealing with the floods in Kentucky.
