With some recent training, YHC has been having long run days on Saturday and missed a few Saturday BD‘S. When I saw an opening on a shorter training week I took it. Started with a pre pre run with 3 addition PAX who couldn’t stay for the main event (Mayhem, Log Cabin, and Turbine). There were also 2 pre runners (Stu and Turkey), and 3 pre ruckers (NoSeeUm, Zohan, and Dosido).
I gave the group the heads up that my training plan called for 12 miles and I had only gotten 9.8, so that called for at least 2.2 miles. With that, and an on point disclaimer, we were off.
Down to the Northwestern track for some SSH, Weed pickers, Imperial Walkers, Toy soldiers, Arm circles, and COVIDs.
Burpees and a mile
50 burpees then a mile run – 4 laps around the track and then head towards Friendship park.
At Friendship Park. Bear Crawl 1-2-3
Partner up, perform 100 Merkins, 200 Big boys, and 300 Squats as a team. While Partner 1 is doing the 1-2-3, Partner 2 Bear Crawls across a defined space (friendship park grass), and Crawl Bear back, then flip flop until all Merkins, Big boys, and Squats are complete.
Run to the CCES playground and partner up. 50 pull ups between partners, 100 step ups – single count (choose ab or leg option if no step up spot) and 150 dips. Partner runs to end of basketball court and back while other exercises; switch and repeat until complete.
Back to near the flag and to the wall at Northwestern for Donkey dans in support of our good buddy MillerTime who was out being Serena Williams in the Alta City Finals. 1 Mercan to 3 donkey kicks. Go until you get to 10 Mercans and 30 donkeys, or they give up. Time was close at 5 Mercans and 15 donkey kicks, so we headed back to the flag.
