No Rest Tabata

Its been a bit of a crazy summer, and I’ve been gone for at least 6 weeks due to various things (home repairs, travel, covid).  Still covering somewhat so no running today, but still tried to challenge the PAX with a tabata workout with limited rest.


  • 10x Toy Soldier
  • 10x Copperhead Squat
  • 10x Weed Picker

Played the some Bad Reputation by Joan Jett.  PAX performed side straddle hops for the duration, and every time she said the word “reputation” dropped to complete a burpee.

The Thang:

4 cycles through the following exercises.  Each round was 55 seconds of work followed by 5 seconds to transition to the next exercise.

  2. Rows
  3. Curls
  4. Good Mornings
  5. Dead Lift
  6. Presses
  7. Flutterkicks
  8. VUps
  9. Box Cutters
  10. Rest for a Round
