The mixtape was ready, and the PAX had no idea what was waiting for them when “Bring Sally Up” came on…
The standard(ish): SSH, Windmills, COVIDs, Arm Circles.
We gathered at the goal line and partnered up (each duo shared a girlfriend). One PAX began doing “jumping burpees” towards the opposite goal line, while their partner completed 10 reps of: curls, skull crushers, and Freddy Mercuries (alpha count). Once the reps were complete, they carried their girlfriend to catch up with their partner, and switched. Once the goal line was reached, we did the same thing back, but lunges instead of jumping burpees.
A lap around the field.
Met at the 50 yard line for round 1 of “Bring Sally Up.” One PAX got in pushup position while their partner held the girlfriend and prepared for squats. From there, we followed the instructions from the song: “Bring Sally Up….Bring Sally Down.”
We ran sprints of 25 yards, 50 yards, 75 yards, and 100 yards.
Round 2 of “Bring Sally Up.” This time, with leg raises and skull crushers.
Mozied back to the flagpole.
Announcements included: FIA/F3 convergence and Dearth Vador events all coming up. The blood drive may be rescheduled.
We had an extra special FNG this morning, as my brother joined us for his first F3 experience. It’s such a privilege to workout with this group of men, and an honor to lead them in a beatdown. Until next time…
