PAX (14): PitStop, Lil Hurt, Wilson, Focker, Pinkey, FannyPack, lumbergh, Groundhog, False Start, Morphine, No-See-Um + Cookie and Devito from the Academy
Five years ago today MillerTime and Devito invited me try out this F3 thing. I wasn’t quite so sure, and didn’t really consider myself a morning person. Then they also sicced their Ms on me as well when I saw them at the pool. So, I thought, “Why not?”
So here we are five years later for my Anniversary Q.
Mosey over to the parking lot.
I thought a great 5-year anniversary gift would be a morning of Burpees. So every part of the Thang included some Burpees.
Started with BLIMPS Suicides which included
5 Burpees – every trip (obviously they were suicides)
15 Imperial Walkers
25 Plank Jacks
The Killer Bees consists of Bear Crawl, Broad Jumps and Burpees. The PAX Bear crawled to the 2nd island of the parking lot and then turned around and broad jumped back to the starting line. But for every five broad jumps, PAX had to do 3 Burpees. Once back to the finish line, we rinsed and repeated, but this time bear crawled to the 3rd island of the parking lot.
Modified Field of Dreams (since we were in a parking lot)
PAX counted off into four groups and went to four different corners of the parking lot
Group 1 did AMRAP Merkins until relieved by Group 2
Group 2 did AMRAP LBCs until relieved by group 3
Group 3 did AMRAP Squats until relieved by Group 4
Group 4 performed 15 Burpees and then ran to relieve Group 1 and start the AMRAP cycle. The cycle continued until every group went through all four stations and completed their 15 Burpees.
Once finished with the cycle, we had enough time to rinse and repeat, but this time with 10 Burpees.
Had just enough time to mosey back to the flag and get in a little Mary.
Praises for PitStop and his successful climb of Mt. Elbert
2.0 Workout this coming Saturday at Nirvana
Reminder to bring baskets for NFCC Senior Basket collection
I wanted to include a big shout out to MillerTime and Devito for dragging me out for my first beatdown 5 years ago. I wouldn’t be here without them. The group means a lot to me, and don’t know what I would do without it. Thanks again again to everyone for hanging out together in the gloom.
