Once again, running behind schedule. It’s not Snax’ fault, it’s his dad’s fault – Rusty. Snax turned 11 on 4/5, but since he was out of town, let’s celebrate it 8 days later!
Weed Picker x 10
Windmill x 10
SSH x 15
We’ll start by exercising to a song, but Rusty can’t get the speaker to work – Wonderful. So, we’ll use his phone. As directed by Snax. the PAX will do mountain climbers while the song plays. Everytime the PAX hear’s “Snowman”, they will do a mercan. It’s at that point he plays “Do you want to build a snowman?” from the box office hit Frozen to groans/chuckles from the PAX. Because the song lasts what seems to be 15 minutes long, Snax cuts this about 3 1/2 minutes in. Mosey to the field.
Starting at the first tree, the PAX is to jog to the first tree, then sprint to the second, jog to the third tree, then sprint to the rest of the distance of the field. Then backpedal back to the start. We did this a total of three times. Then we mosey’d to the pull-up bar. We did a round of morning call.
Mosey’d to the baseball field. Snax lined the PAX on the fence and counted them off into 2 groups. Group 1 started at the first station. Group 2 started at the second stations. See below:
Station 1 – 10 reps each round. Do a round, then run to the next station:
Round 1 – Bonnie Blairs (double count)
Round 2: Wide-Arm Mercans
Round 3: Burpees
Round 4: Diamond Mercans
Station 2 – 20 reps each round. Cinders are at this station.
Round 1 – Bicep Curls
Round 2: Overhead Press
Round 3: Chest Press
Round 4: Skull Crushers
Station 3 – 30 reps each round. Kettlebells are at this station.
Round 1 – V-Chops
Round 2: Swings
Round 3: Halo’s
Round 4: Overhead Squats/Goblet Squats
Station 4 – 40 reps each round. Kettlebells are at this station.
Round 1 – Lunges (single count)
Round 2: Plank Jacks
Round 3: Shoulder Taps (double count)
Round 4: American Hammers (double count)
PAX mosey’s with their cinders back to the flag. There we did the mercan wheel of death and got up to 140 before time!
Prayers for Ready-Mix and his family. A terrible loss, but he was honored on Monday at the Hooch with a 102 turnout. Prayers for TheBurn and a little girl recovering from a recent injury. Rusty reminded folks of his LLS campaign and we agreed to do a Murph at Badapple on Memorial Day.
TheBurn brought ice coffee, cake and cupcakes. Very grateful for his leadership and the kind gesture. Thank you to all that celebrated Snax birthday this morning and put up with the bumps in the road (quick start, dead speaker, etc.).
