Having been annihilated by the pollen the last two days, YHC took necessary precautions of bourbon and antihistamines the night before (9 out of 10 Doctors Recommended ) to ensure peak performance for the beatdown. Weather was perfect, everyone was on time and ready to go. The disclaimer was given and as always, the blame should always fall on Rusty.
Mosey to start with a bit of high knees, and carioca. Circled up near the road to give a nice WTH/Mayhem moment to cars passing by with the following:
10 Monkey Humpers
10 Toy Soldiers
10 Abe Vigodas
Mosey to the Pullup Station and bathrooms and do the following:
1 Mile Indian Run around Badapple AO.Last Pax has to do 10 Merkins and sprint to front of the line.
Each PAX was able to do 2 rounds of Merkins. There was almost a “beatdown” inside the beatdown as Outhouse pushed the pace at breakneck speed. Grumbling could be heard…mostly from YHC.

Sprocket who’s always the overachiever finished quickly and said something about being a winner…hmmm.
Just under 4 minutes remaining and so QIC barked to get in plank position and stay there for duration of DJ Khaled’s All I Do is Win…when you hear WIN, all do a Merkin. When you hear up/down, you plank RH/LH up. Nearly a 4 minute plank is good for the core…and the soul.
Upcoming Blood Drive and Convergence dates announced. Prayers for family members fighting illness, pain. And for those traveling for Spring Break.
Always a pleasure to lead these fine men, and it felt good to sweat and get the work in before the wind and pollen kicked up later.
