Preamble:
Not gonna lie, I was not feeling it this morning. Long and busy weekend would have found me in the fart sack if I hadn’t committed to the Q, which was in honor of a full year of F3. Rolled in on two wheels right at 5:30 and we were off.
Warm-O-Rama:
Mosey to the upper lot with a stout PAX got the wheels turning a bit in my brain started with:
- SSH
- Imperial Walkers… uhhh.. wait yes these are Toy Soldiers.
- Weed Pickers
- Mountain Climbers
The Thang:
Re-located to the pond for some four “corners”. Sometimes I feel like we have a tendency to blast through exercises without much focus on form. And it’s easy- you’ve got a bunch of swoldiers moving quickly and no one wants to get left behind. Slowing down the exercises allows us to get technically stronger, and hopefully reduce the risk of body ache. To that end we did four laps around the pond with everything in a 3 count:
- Merkins x10
- Crunchy Frogs x10
- Romanian Dead Lifts x10
- Squat Jacks… uhhh… squat jumps (this one could have been overlooked by a group containing fewer smart asses) x10
COT:
Prayers for Blue’s family, Choo Choos family, Hammy’s dad’s new facility, Baby Echo #2, and all the dudes who ran their 100 this past weekend.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
Seriously- the past year spending mornings at the Wreck has been a huge blessing in my life. We are fortunate to have a group of men that push each other to be better in many ways.
