Simple, painful, and fun. How else could you describe it. In the bottom lot of the park the Pax ran to the first peninsula (not island) and did 5 merkins, 5 big boys , and 5 squats. Then run back to the start. Turn and head to the next peninsula and repeat. Work your way around the 1/4 mile loop. Seems easy ? The young bucks thought so. As the time went on their youthful exuberance began to wane and the steady progress of the more seasoned pax began to shine. By the time the bell sounded we had completed a little over 2 miles and all had our fair share of exercises. Many complaints and a few “I hate you” was heard by the Q. I will call that a win.
