Hints were dropped early, leveraging the new ‘Stage Light Mono’ mode on the phone.
Why? Last week at Jericho, the Q spot was empty with multiple PAX announcing they were going to be out of town.
YHC did not enthusiastically grab Q, stumbled on 2 free tires then starting dropping bait to get the numbers up.
Quick mosey around the parking lot, was gonna head straight to the field for an Info-Mosey…but to make sure FNG Fiddler got a standard F3 welcome, we stopped for 15 SSH.
Mosey to the field for an Info-Mosey session. Michael Phelps, Willie Mays Hayes, and Hill Billies all OYO while we slowly toured the Jericho Gauntlet as YHC doled out instructions for each Pain Station. One more lap around the Gauntlet quizzing all PAX on the instructions and by golly – they got it! These guys are smarter than they look.
Partner up for the Jericho Gauntlet comprised of 8 Pain Stations. Lots of toys involved
45lb weight – Partners take turns hoisting the weight from the 30 yard to the goal line and back. This station was the timer – when they completed, we all rotated to the next station.
Weight Vests / Ruck – PAX 1 Squats wearing vest, PAX 2 BearCrawls 15 yards and back dragging a 20lb ruck sack. Flap Jack on return.
Tractor Tires / Sledge Hammer – PAX 1 beats up a tire using the Sledge, PAX 2 flips tire 2x down and 2x back. Flap Jack on return.
Coupons – PAX 1 alternates single arm curls, PAX 2 OH press coupon 15 yards and back. Flap Jack on return.
PAX 1 Burpee, PAX 2 Crabwalks 15 yards and back. Flap Jack on return.
Battle Rope – PAX 1 performs battle rope exercises, PAX 2 15 count X factors. Flap Jack on completion.
PAX 1 WWI sit-ups, PAX 2 15 count Supermans. Flap Jack on completion.
2 man Indian Run – PAX 1 slow mosey around 30 yard-goal rectangle, PAX 2 sprint to catch partner. Flap Jack
We had so much fun we did it again. This time Station 1 shortened their toss to 15 yards and back.
Back to the flag with all the gear. Mary for the 8 minutes left? Heck to the Naw! Not with all these toys.
PAX divided into 2 teams for a Tire Flip race. One team won probably because their tire was lighter. So we switched and they won again. Whatever..
Teams circled their feet on the tires for Derkins IC which took us right to the bell.
Prayers for those in Ukraine and surrounding areas including Shag’s sisters fam.
Prayers for PAX fam. Thanks for sharing bro.
Prayers for Snowman’s coworkers family dealing with grief. Great job being a pillar of comfort and hope to those around you.
CHARGE: Prepare…. Seeds planted will bear fruit – whether it be good or bad. Prepare, plant good seeds.
It was lots of fun planning this one and dropping teasers and hints along the way. But all of that hinged on knowing we have a group of HIMs that will jump in and make any beat down fun. The brotherhood/camaraderie/trust is the platform for the fun, hard work, and expressions of creativity and equally so its the platform for vulnerability and sharing things that can’t be shared – all exhibited today.
Props to Napalm on the assist with pre-game setup and for all the PAX helping to load gear afterwards.
