No one signed up to Q and after an attempt to encourage a VQ we decided to split the Q between Speedo and myself. Morphine suggested a deck of death, but YHC think it would have a been a missed opportunity to try some bad ideas. Looks like Speedo was of the same mind.
Mosey in the parking lot. Run backwards and sideways too, just make sure not to get run over by Speedo’s M.
Circle up for Pink Burpees. This means doing SSH to the sounds of Aerosmith’s Pink, and Burpees every time they say Pink. YHC counted 20 Burpees in the lyrics, but most of us did one or two more by mistake.
Continued the warm up with Hillbillies, Weed Pickers and Moroccan Night Clubs.
Mosey to the field. YHC had something fun planned for Partners, but we were 5 so modification was needed.
15 Seal BBSUs (all pax cross hands and do the sit ups in cadence). Sprint to other side of the field. Rinse and Repeat.
15 Copper Head Squats, followed by Lunge Walk to mid-field. Variation – with every lunge clap under the knee, to ensure a deeper lunge. 15 more Copper Head Squats, continue the lunge till end of field and 15 more such squats.
Global Warming – Start in air chair position, PAX do a low shuffle clockwise till YHC calls an exercise. Then resume position and shuffle counter clockwise. Another exercise and so forth till Q gives up. We did 10 of each OYO: Merkins, Wide Merkins, Monkey Humpers, LBCs, Diamond Merkins, Stagger Merkins and the other Stagger Merkins. I think I forgot some non-merkins but not sure. At some point YHC that the low shuffle became a regular shuffle as PAX couldn’t maintain the low position any longer. Couldn’t blame them. Finished with Hand Release Merkins.
Bear Crawl with Cinder “Indian Run”. PAX plank behind each other. Last man at the back bear crawls with the cinder forward, then pushes the cinder between legs behind till it reaches the man now at the back. We did 2 rounds and, as Feather said it, left a mark.
YHC wanted to do just one more thing before passing the responsibility to Speedo. We moseyed to low will and planked Derkin position. PAX were instructed to move to the left in that position. Groans begun even before movement was initiated. We did not progress for long and some PAX reached muscle failure, so YHC called stop.
Cross the street to the pavilion and sat on the tables. Proceeded to do Gas Pumpers of sorts, with feet pointing down, then strait and then up. That was terrible and it only just begun.
Continued to the field and circled up. 5 rounds of 15 LBCs, 15 Flatter Kicks alpha count and 15 seconds holding Superman position. All OYO. 5 rounds.
Next came some leg exercises which may remain unnamed, much like the muscles that started hurting. First one legged kick, 10 with each leg X3. Then Fire Hydrants, 10 with each leg X3 and last move the leg to the side (imagine half a plank jack) 10 each leg X3.
We finished with a mosey around the field.
Mosey back to the flag for some LBCs and Dying Cockroach.
