PAX (8): Caffey, Groundhog, lumbergh, MillerTime, No-See-Um, Red Ryder, Special K, Chunks
8 pax showed with one FNG and ready to get this Saturday morning started off right. There were 3 pre-ruckers and 1 pre-runner out in the early gloom.
Temperature was cold as usual but it didn’t stop these committed pax to avoid the fartsack and post with their brothers. YHC gave the disclaimer and was excited about re-living some amazing moments on a historic night earlier in the week.
To the flag pole in front of MHS for some various exercises all IC & to 13 🙂
YHC also recited the 3 F’s, what they stand for as well as the 5 Core Principles of F3
Open to All Men
Held Outdoors Rain/Shine, Heat/Cold
Led in Rotating Fashion by Peers
Ends with COT
Now on to the stadium where the pax entered right under the goal post and waved at the crowd and after meeting at the 50 more warm-ups were done to get ready for the mornings CELEBRATION.
Our FNG was out of the gate strong and didn’t go unnoticed. Let’s see if he could hold up for a full hour 🙂
The main event of the day would obviously have a certain them to it as DAWG fans have been waiting a long time for a Football Championship and been so close so many times. Today the men at Nirvana would remember it some more!!!
Pax lined up on the 44 yard line…..heading backwards – side shuffle 5 yds/side shuffle 5 yds/back pedal to 21 yard line then:
5 Star Jacks / 5 Burpees then sprint to end zone (mosey back to 44 and plank for six)
R&R 5 times in honor of stud frosh Kelee Ringo and his pick six to seal the Natty.
Next up pax would start at 40 going in:
Broad Jump Burpees 10 yards / Lunges 10 yards then sprint through end zone and mosey back imitating Adoni Mitchell’s route/TD catch from Stetson Bennett.
R&R 3 times for our Zeus (Zamir White) who scored the first TD of the game for the Dawgs.
Next a set of stadiums to thank the GA faithful for their passion/dedication to follow them Bulldawgs everywhere!
Hill work: Time for the pax to climb that mountain and conquer it like GA did over Bama. YHC planted his own bright red flag with Super G at the top of the hill for all to admire.
7’s w/ Bonnie Blairs/Merkins (Quay Walker)
Bear Crawl /Crawl Bear x 4 (James Cook)
Back Pedal up x 1 (George Pickens)
Somewhere in the middle of the 7’s, MT noticed our FNG off to the side catching his breath……or was he?? Nevertheless, Chunks gathered himself…pale-face and all & finished up strong!
Back to AO start with Georgia flag and coupons in hand
BTTW X 17 seconds IC (Nakobe Dean)
Wall Sits x 17 secs IC (*Meant to do 19 seconds here for Brock Bowers)
BTTW for as long as possible…MT looked glued to wall as he edged out Special K
To track for lap with two rounds of the following at each end…
10 Monkey Humpers / 10 Merkins / 10 Flutters
Back to flag for a Doomsday Clock, trying to give Special K some redemption but once again MT took the crown.
Mary: All pitched in here….Boxcutters, Freddie Mercs, Crucnchy Frogs, Merkins, Dying Cockroaches, Pickle Pointer Holds, Big Boi’s
Prayers for Caffey’s M and pregnancy as the stresses of work/life seem to be weighing heavy.
YHC’s son who continues to navigate his way through adolescence & prayers for YHC and M as well for guidance, patience and all of the above.
Welcome to FNG – Chunks. Great effort today brother and we could really tell….we also could tell what you had for dinner last night 🙂 🙂
Dawg themed workout today and we definitely climbed that mountain today and conquered it. Fun morning remembering all the glorious plays from Monday night like Kelee Ringo’s pick 6, Adoni Mitchell’s TD catch from SBIV, etc. Groundhog took all the poking/prodding as a GT guy like a true #HIM.
